Love & Beauty.

First of all, I am so excited and honored that I was chosen by Heather at Peace, Love and Polish as one of her featured bloggers for the month of March!  This means so much to me - thank you, Heather!  And, second, can you believe it is already March?!  Seriously, where does the time go??

Today I have swatches of three Love & Beauty polishes that I picked up last week from Forever 21.  These beauties looked so amazing in the bottle that I could not wait to get them on my nails!  I love that they look like indie polishes - glitter bombs in colored bases, who doesn't love that?!  I know I do!

First up I have Pink Icing - multi-colored hex glitter of different sizes in a pink base.  The application on this was so incredibly amazing!  I have to admit, I was expecting these to not be the easiest to apply.  At only $2.80 a bottle, I thought that I might have to fiddle with the glitters a bit and be very careful on applying each coat.  Boy, was I wrong!  This applied like butter! Opaque in two coats and the glitter placed itself.  It was not thick and clumpy, which is surprising with the dense amount of glitter in this one.  And the name is absolutely perfect.  It definitely looks like I have pink icing with multi-colored sprinkles on my nails.  Yum!

Next is Peacock's Feathers.  This has blue and magenta hex and small purple glitters in a dark grey base.  Love!  The application on this one was not quite as great as Pink Icing, but was still easy to apply.  No glitter placement was necessary on this one either!  Pictured is three coats.

Last I have Glittering Dawn.  This is a stunner!  Glittering Dawn is a baby blue base with magenta and holographic silver hexes with tiny purple hexes.  The combination is beautiful!  Application was perfect on this one!  Pictured is three coats.

Overall I really love these Love & Beauty polishes.  I love that they look like indie polishes, application was a breeze, drying time was quick, and they are actually fairly easy to remove considering the amount of glitter in them.  And the real kicker - only $2.80 a piece!  I definitely recommend these polishes and I am hoping that Forever 21 will continue to produce more Love & Beauty polishes with this concept.

Until next time...

    2. Ok, I made myself go and I managed to get Glittering Dawn & Peacock Feathers (where did you get the names, my bottles only say Baby Blue/Hot Pink and Grey/Hot Pink?). I couldn't find Pink Icing :(
I also grabbed a pretty seafoam color that looks like a Zoya Bevin dupe with some added metallic shimmer and a pretty coral-y pink based topper with lots of holo silver glitters. Definitely worth the trip! :)

    3. Fun! I haven't seen those there yet- but they sound gorgeous! They used to print the names on these, but stopped a while back. I did a little online research to figure out what they were called, but mine say the same thing yours do.
