Neon green.

Hi everyone!  First of all, make sure you check the blog tomorrow because I will be posting the fan giveaway! I am so excited to be hosting my first giveaway, and I really hope you all like the prize package.  Stay tuned for that :)

Today I have a bright, neon green mani for all of you.  The weather has been absolutely amazing here in Southern Cali with a warm 87 degrees.  This type of weather definitely calls for bright colors and outdoor sun!  I wanted to mix this mani up a bit and figured that I might as well give my new Konad stamper a go.  Be nice- it's my first time stamping!

I used Duri Summer Rain as the main color for this manicure.  It is such a bright neon that it makes my skin look super tan - so funny!  My ring finger is accented with China Glaze Glistening Snow.  For the middle finger I painted one coat of Sally Hansen White On and topped it with a coat of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu! I love how this softens the look of the white polish.

Once the polish on my middle finger was dry (with the help of some Seche Vite), I used my Konad stamper and Cheeky CH6 plate to stamp the dotted design.

Considering this was my first time stamping, I am pleased with how the design came out.  I definitely need practice though.  It is not as easy as it seems and you really have to move fast.  I am looking forward to playing with it more and coming up with more stamped manicures.  What do you all think?

Until next time...

  1. I just stumbled upon your blog while "google-ing" swatches of Sinful Colors and had to say that your nails are beautiful and I will be book-marking your blog. :) I also love that you top gradients with CG's Fairy Dust because I love to add that polish to manicures as well! -Kelly
