Spring pastels.

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed your St. Patrick's Day!  I didn't do anything too festive, but I did get to enjoy a day-date with my hubby.  We went to go see Oz The Great and Powerful at the movie theater and we both really enjoyed it!  We have two small boys so it isn't too often that we get to go out by ourselves - it was definitely a treat!

Today I wanted to do a manicure that was more Spring themed.  Sifting through my polish collection, I decided on some of the gorgeous pastels from the latest Sinful Colors Sugar Rush Collection.  I used a sponging technique for this mani, and I love how it came out.

First, I painted a white base on my nails using Sally Hansen White on.  Once that was dry, I used a makeup sponge to sponge on each individual color in various locations on my nails.  I overlapped the colors a bit to help in blending them together, as well as ensuring that I covered all of the white base.  The colors I used were all Sinful Colors and included Sugar Rush, Unicorn, Orange Cream, and Sweet Tooth.  I love love LOVE how this came out!

What do you all think?  Are you ready for Spring?

Until next time...
